Renowned actor, director, and TV presenter Annu Kapoor recently revealed his wish for a discreet farewell, drawing inspiration from the late veteran actor Asrani. In an interview with ANI, Kapoor mentioned that if his demise coincides with a national festival or event, he would like his final rites conducted in private.
Kapoor reflected on Asrani's desire and noted, "His wish has inspired me. When my time comes, and it's a national event or festival, may my rites be performed quietly. I don't want to be a burden to anyone," echoed the 'Aitraaz' actor. Asrani's last rites, per his wish, were carried out at Santacruz Crematorium, in the presence of family.
Annu Kapoor's illustrious career includes films like 'Mandi', 'Mr. India', and '7 Khoon Maaf'. Beyond acting, he's renowned for his radio show 'Suhaana Safar With Annu Kapoor' and has directed plays and a feature film, 'Abhay'. He also hosted the popular show 'Antakshari'.
