Delhi University to Restructure BA Programmes and Boost Infrastructure

Delhi University's Executive Council is preparing to deliberate on proposed curriculum adjustments, aiming to refine and optimize its BA Programme offerings for the 2026–27 academic year.
Recommendations include merging underrepresented subjects, like Urdu and Telugu, into broader combinations, and reconsidering courses such as Office Management under revamped academic structures.
While no new programmes are on the table, infrastructure upgrades, including a ₹174.20 crore new Institute of Nano Medical Sciences building, are poised for discussion, alongside financial strategies involving partial HEFA loan funding.
