Brewing Ideas: Delhi University's 'Coffee with Vice-Chancellor' Initiative

Delhi University has kickstarted a new student engagement initiative titled 'Coffee with Vice-Chancellor', designed to facilitate open dialogue between students and administration. This pioneering session, held on Monday evening, witnessed Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh engaging with 10 students from Miranda House.

Singh encouraged the students to consider emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence as empowerment tools. Addressing AI concerns, he emphasized the need for prudence in leveraging technology, urging the youth to make AI their assistant and not a master. Singh discussed India's technological achievements and its potential for transformation, underlining the significance of aligning education with national progress.

Covering a range of topics, Singh stressed the importance of Value Addition Courses and Skill Enhancement Courses in shaping holistic individuals with patriotism and moral values. He emphasized security for students and announced plans to install CCTV across the campus. The 'Coffee with Vice-Chancellor' initiative promises to be a recurring event aimed at meaningful student-administration exchanges.
