Central Delhi is expected to face significant traffic disruptions on Saturday due to a rally at Ramlila Ground. Authorities have issued a traffic advisory highlighting diversions on vital roads to manage congestion between 8 am and 5 pm.
As the rally gathers momentum from 10 am, key roads such as Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Chaman Lal Marg, Ajmeri Gate, and Minto Road will be affected. Heavy vehicles will be prohibited on certain routes around Delhi Gate, with specific parking bans on noted stretches.
To alleviate pressure, authorities suggest using parking facilities at Mata Sundari College. Buses will drop off at Delhi Gate and park at Rajghat, with strict enforcement against illegally parked vehicles to maintain flow.
