The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) inaugurated multiple initiatives in Haryana, focusing on women's empowerment, farmer-producer organizations (FPOs), and sustainable livelihoods. The launch took place in Kaithal and Karnal districts.

Key highlights included the foundation stone laying for the Saras Dhara Milk Processing Unit and the inauguration of the Viksit FPO Mustard Oil Processing Unit and sales outlet in Pharal village. A credit outreach programme connected banks with beneficiaries to strengthen credit linkages for rural enterprises. Sanction letters and cheques were distributed to Joint Liability Groups, Kharkhoda Block Organic FPO, and Jind Kisan Jan Nirman FPO.

A dairy processing unit for Bilona ghee production was also inaugurated in Karnal's Manglora village, promoting women-led enterprises. NABARD Chairman Shaji K V noted that the organization has been supporting women-led FPOs in Haryana for over a decade, mobilizing approximately 13,000 women. The financial disbursements for 2025-26 amounted to Rs 30,050 crore, bolstering rural infrastructure and entrepreneurship.
