Haryana Congress Rallies Against LPG Price Surge

The Haryana Congress held a significant protest in Ambala on Thursday, targeting the recent hike in LPG prices. Accusing the Centre of shifting the burden of inflation onto everyday citizens, the protest was spearheaded by Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Rao Narendra Singh.

Participants in the demonstration included several party MLAs, who voiced slogans like 'Remove inflation' and 'Make LPG cheaper' to express their discontent with the government's handling of LPG pricing. Singh pointed out the Rs 60 rise for domestic cylinders and Rs 115 for commercial ones, citing these as reasons for the agitation.

As part of a broader nationwide campaign against LPG price increases, Singh warned of larger-scale actions should the government fail to address these concerns. Demonstrators, including party leaders and workers, emphasized the wide-reaching economic hardships posed by the price hikes while demanding immediate intervention from the authorities.
