Historic US-India Trade Deal and Critical Minerals Collaboration Unveiled

In a significant diplomatic meeting held in Washington DC, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio endorsed a landmark trade deal announced by President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The trade agreement, which sees a reduction in tariffs, marks a pivotal moment in US-India economic relations.
The bilateral discussions also centered around formalizing cooperation on critical minerals exploration and processing, crucial for technological advancements and energy security. This aligns with the upcoming Critical Minerals Ministerial, a strategic initiative led by the US to diversify supply chains and bolster international partnerships.
