The flight's unexpected descent led to its diversion to Tampa International Airport around 2 pm. It remains unclear how many passengers were injured, but reports indicate that at least three individuals suffered injuries, with one sustaining a head laceration.
JetBlue stated that safety remains their top priority as they take the aircraft out of service for inspection and work alongside the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate the cause of the incident.
