India Charts Course to Maritime Power at Mumbai Conclave

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on October 29 to address an essential maritime leaders’ conclave, as India moves towards establishing itself as a formidable maritime power, according to an official statement on Monday.

The visit includes Modi chairing the Global Maritime CEO Forum, the showcase event of India Maritime Week (IMW). The forum will unite leaders from global maritime companies, policymakers, and investors to discuss the future direction of the maritime industry.

This initiative, reflecting Modi's commitment to maritime transformation, aligns with India's Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047. It focuses on sustainable growth, resilient supply chains, and a blue economy, aiming to position India among the world's maritime leaders.
