In a move to capture the festive spirit of Chhath Puja, Indian Railways has embarked on an initiative to broadcast traditional Chhath songs at railway stations starting from Friday. This initiative aims to connect passengers with the auspicious atmosphere of the festival, enhancing their travel experience.

According to the Railway Ministry, these devotional airwaves are creating a sacred ambiance at 30 major stations including Patna, Delhi, and Ghaziabad. The initiative not only infuses passengers' journeys with joy and devotion but also offers them a nostalgic taste of home and culture.

With special security and logistical arrangements, including RPF personnel and CCTV monitoring, the Railway administration assures a comfortable and safe journey. Additionally, to facilitate the return journey of passengers post-festival, 6,181 special trains have been announced, with extra coaches and weather-proof waiting areas at key locations.
