Shanthi Gears Ltd Posts Q2 Profit Amid Decline in Income

Industrial gearing solutions firm, Shanthi Gears Ltd, announced a profit after tax of Rs 21.51 crore for the July-September 2025 quarter. The Tamil Nadu-based company's profit was lower compared to Rs 25.63 crore in the same quarter a year ago, reflecting a decline in financial performance.
For the six-month period ending September 30, 2025, the firm posted a profit after tax of Rs 44.20 crore, slightly down from Rs 47.29 crore recorded during the same timeframe last year. Total income during the recent quarter amounted to Rs 137.85 crore, a reduction from Rs 158.45 crore in the previous year.
Despite the decline in profits, the company received new orders worth Rs 138 crore during the quarter, with an unexecuted order book valued at Rs 254 crore as of September 30, 2025, according to the company's statement. The firm aims to bolster its future revenue streams with these orders.
