Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd reported a dramatic 73% decrease in net profit to Rs 756.64 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, compared to significant gains from divestments in the previous year.
The company's revenue from operations fell by 9% to Rs 12,751.29 crore. Despite this, total income, accounting for other income sources, increased by 9.63% to Rs 12,864.36 crore, as per business intelligence platform Tofler.
CEO James Quincey emphasized the strategic importance of these divestments and agreements. The move is aimed at completing Coca-Cola's refranchising strategy, further focusing on brand enhancement and innovation.
