The Gujarat Police's initiative to promote sports among the younger generation got a boost as Dr. K L N Rao, in-charge Director General of Police (DGP), awarded scholarships to four promising athletes.
This groundbreaking initiative provided financial support to Nandini Dharmarajsinh Chudasama, a shooter, Viraj Pravinbhai, a cricketer, Dharmaditya K Jhala, a badminton player, and Sakshi Kalpeshkumar, a volleyball enthusiast.
Expressing his aspirations, DGP Rao emphasized the importance of fostering sports culture within the police community, aiming to inspire more children to pursue their dreams in athletics.
