An LPG cylinder explosion resulted in a destructive fire that gutted two houses in Pattivadgaon, located in Ambajogai tehsil, early Friday morning. According to police reports, no casualties were recorded.
The incident took place as preparations were underway for a tenth-day post-death ritual at the home of Balasaheb Jadhav, who recently lost his wife to cancer. An official reported that the furnace unexpectedly ignited, causing flames to spread and subsequently explode the connected gas cylinder.
The explosion caused extensive damage, nearly obliterating the mud-and-wood house along with a neighboring property. Despite the severity of the incident, the fortunate lack of injuries comes as a relief to residents and officials alike.
