Bangladesh, batting first, set a target of 266 following a substantial 160-run partnership between Shanto and Litton Das. Despite New Zealand's Will O'Rourke taking early wickets, Bangladesh remained resilient. The Black Caps managed 210 runs before being bowled out in 44.5 overs, thanks to tight bowling from the hosts.
New Zealand struck initial blows but failed to consolidate, with Nick Kelly's 59 and Dean Foxcroft's 75 being the highlights in their innings. As the series progresses to the T20 Internationals in Chattogram next week, Bangladesh will look to maintain their momentum.
