Paralympic Champion Accuses Dronacharya Coach of Verbal Abuse

Paralympic gold-medallist Sumit Antil has lodged a formal complaint with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), accusing Dronacharya awardee coach Naval Singh of mental harassment and verbal abuse. The allegations have been supported by Olympic superstar Neeraj Chopra, emphasizing the severity of the situation.

The complaint asserts that Naval Singh, who is coaching under the Athletics Federation of India, has engaged in abusive behavior not only towards Antil but also towards their families. Reports suggest that Naval's actions are targeted at hindering the athletes' performances, a charge that Singh denies.

SAI has confirmed receipt of the complaint but highlighted that Naval Singh is not their employee, complicating the matter. While further investigations are underway, top athletes continue to express concern over the lack of a timely response from the authorities.
