Cricket Rivalry Rekindled: Australia Tours Pakistan

The Australian cricket team will embark on a tour to Pakistan in late May for a three-match ODI series. The matches are slated to take place in Lahore and Rawalpindi, according to sources from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

This series forms part of a larger agreement between Cricket Australia (CA) and the PCB, under which the Australian T20 side visited Pakistan prior to the T20 World Cup for a series of matches. The upcoming matches are tentatively scheduled between May 30 and June 5, although final details are still being negotiated with Cricket Australia.

Following the conclusion of the Pakistan tour, the Australian team is expected to travel to Bangladesh for another ODI series starting June 9. This tour is particularly critical as many of Australia's key players were absent due to fitness concerns during the earlier T20 series, leading to underperformance in the T20 World Cup.
