In a dramatic turn of events, Morocco has been awarded a 3-0 victory in the Africa Cup of Nations final after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) stripped Senegal of their title.
Senegal initially claimed victory with a 1-0 win on January 18, thanks to Pape Gueye's decisive goal during extra-time.
However, the decision was overturned after Senegalese players walked off the pitch for over 10 minutes in protest of a penalty awarded to Morocco, leading to CAF's appeal board intervening two months post-match.
