India's Historic T20 World Cup Triumph Celebrated with Massive BCCI Reward

In a significant gesture of appreciation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of Rs 131 crore for the Indian cricket team after their third T20 World Cup victory. The reward will be shared among 15 players and guidance staff, with the players being promised the lion's share.
This recent award marks a Rs 6 crore increment from the Rs 125 crore given to the team in 2024, with each player expected to receive Rs 6 crore individually. Meanwhile, the remaining Rs 41 crore will be distributed among the support staff based on hierarchy, sources reveal.
India's remarkable triumph against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where they won by 96 runs, secured their position as the first team in history to win the ICC Men's T20 World Cup three times and successfully defend their title, further solidifying their legendary status in the sport.
