In the post-final press conference, Yadav acknowledged the challenges faced early in the tournament but praised the team's ability to find its rhythm and deliver strong performances throughout the competition. Now, he has set his sights on the 2028 Olympic gold medal.
The Indian skipper emphasized the team's transformation after the 2024 T20 World Cup, adopting a more aggressive and modern style of cricket. This change in approach led to victories in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and the 2026 T20 World Cup, with Yadav vowing to continue this momentum.
