Sanatan Premier League: Cricket for a Noble Cause

The city of Indore is set to host a unique cricket tournament next month, aimed at supporting women who have survived acid attacks. This announcement was made by the event's organizers on Thursday, highlighting the community's effort to foster positive impact through sports.
The Sanatan Premier League will mark its inaugural edition from March 12 to March 15 at the Nehru Stadium, as confirmed by spiritual leader Devkinandan Thakur. He emphasized that the proceeds, generated through a system collecting Rs 500 for every run scored, will directly benefit the survivors.
Eight teams hailing from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, and Delhi will compete in the tournament. Aside from its noble cause, the event will also see the winning team earning Rs 31 lakh, with a Rs 15 lakh prize for the runner-up.
