Deputy Commissioner of Police Shrikrishna Lalchandani reported that the suspect was apprehended in Mumbai after fleeing from the rented house where the victim's body was found. It emerged that the accused and the victim were in a complicated relationship, with the former harboring suspicions about her interactions with other men.
