Long Arm of Law: 19-Year-Old Murder Mystery Solved

After nearly two decades, the Delhi Police apprehended Sikander and his wife Manju, suspects in the 2004 murder of a 14-year-old girl in Nangloi, Delhi. The couple, living under the radar as daily-wage laborers, were located in Bihar.

The case traces back to April 2004 when the teenage victim was discovered dead, her throat slit, while her family was away. Sikander, having harbored resentment over unpaid wages from the victim's father Ganesh, conspired with his wife to commit the crime.

The duo moved extensively, living in places including Ghaziabad and Kolkata, to avoid capture. Their arrest unfolded following intensified police efforts to resolve long-pending heinous cases. Further investigation into the murder is ongoing.
