Indian athletes have excelled at the Youth Asian Games, with six advancing to the finals in boxing, thus assuring six medals. In addition to boxing, successes were also noted in badminton, wrestling, and table tennis. India's current medal count is 25, including three golds, ranking them 11th overall.

Indian athletes demonstrated remarkable prowess at the Youth Asian Games, with six boxers reaching the finals and securing at least six medals for the country. The boxing team, led by promising talents like 15-year-old Khushi Chand, who will face China's Chen Fang-yu, has been a standout performer.
In addition to boxing advancements, Indian shuttlers and table tennis players showed significant strength. Suryaksh Rawat advanced to the badminton quarterfinals, with Vennala Kalagotla and Tankara Talasila also reaching their respective categories' quarterfinals with solid performances.
