The Haryana Steelers have solidified their place in the playoffs of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 12, achieving a comprehensive 50-32 victory over the Gujarat Giants on Tuesday at Delhi's Thyagaraj Stadium. This win sees Jaipur Pink Panthers also advance to the playoffs.

In an impressive show of skill, Shivam Patare and Vinay both earned Super 10s, with Patare crossing the milestone of 400 raid points in his PKL career by adding 16 points to his name that evening. Despite Himanshu Singh's commendable performance for the Giants, which included a Super 10, the playoff dream for the Giants remained unattained.

The game began with the Steelers setting a strong tone, as Vinay opened the scoring and a tackle by Jaideep kept the pressure on. The Giants retaliated briefly with prowess from Himanshu Singh and Nitin Panwar. However, the Steelers, led by a solid performance from Patare, managed to neutralize the early pressure, leaving the scoreboard at a level 10-10 by the end of the first quarter.

As the matchup progressed, Rahul's pivotal tackle helped the Steelers inflict an important 'ALL OUT', establishing a four-point advantage. Though the Giants showed resilience, the Steelers maintained a comfortable 21-15 lead at halftime. The latter half saw strategic plays from both sides but was dominated by Haryana.

Ankit Dahiya's effort brought the Giants within a seven-point range, but Neeraj's decisive tackle and Vinay's extensive four-point Super Raid secured the result for the Steelers, finalizing a 50-32 victory and validating their playoff position.
