The 23-member Indian boxing contingent has embarked on a promising journey to Manama, Bahrain, to participate in the highly-anticipated third Asian Youth Games, set to commence on October 23.

The team boasts a roster of outstanding talent, including national gold medallists Dhruv Kharb, Udham Singh Raghav, Khushi Chand, Ahaana Sharma, and Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari, who have been pivotal in India's youth boxing triumphs.

These young athletes, who also excelled at the Asian U-17 Championships, were selected through rigorous national trials and are poised to compete across 14 weight categories. The team wrapped up an intensive training camp in Patiala focused on sharpening technical skills under expert coaches.
