In a dramatic incident, a massive fire engulfed around 40 shanties in Una, with local authorities reporting the event on Friday. Fortunately, no individuals were injured as the area was empty at the time of the blaze.
According to officials, the fire began near the old Hoshiarpur road and swiftly spread to the surrounding structures. Alerted by the locals, both the fire department and police responded rapidly to the emergency.
Firefighters deployed five tenders to the site, managing to extinguish the flames after several hours of effort. Though the fire left significant damage, officials note that the cause of the inferno is still under investigation.
