Rajasthan Sizzles: Mercury Soars Past 40°C
Temperatures across Rajasthan have surged, with many locations recording over 40°C. Sriganganagar recorded the highest at 43.7°C. Other cities like Pilani, Chittorgarh, Churu, and Kota also registered temperatures above 42°C. Jaipur witnessed a peak of 40.5°C, with forecasts predicting further increases.

Rajasthan sweltered on Wednesday as mercury levels soared beyond 40 degrees Celsius in numerous locations, data from the weather department revealed.
Sriganganagar topped the list with a blistering 43.7 degrees, followed closely by Pilani in Jhunjhunu at 42.7 degrees Celsius. Chittorgarh wasn't far behind with 42.6 degrees.
Churu and Kota weren't spared either, recording 42.4 and 42.1 degrees respectively. Even Jaipur, the state capital, saw temperatures climb to 40.5 degrees. Weather experts warn of more heat to come.
