An environmental activist vessel collided with a Norwegian krill harvesting vessel near Antarctica, causing minor hull damage, according to its owner, Aker QRILL Company.
On Tuesday, the Norway-flagged trawler Antarctic Sea was reportedly struck by the 65-metre Bandero, operated by the Captain Paul Watson Foundation.
The foundation stated the incident was an accident and they are committed to protecting marine life through non-violent actions.
