Two Polish nationals, aged 22 and 23, have been detained by Poland's Internal Security Agency in connection with an arson attack on a Czech optics and drone factory. The factory, located in Pardubice, is part of the LPP Holding, known for its military ties.
The attack, which occurred on the night of March 19-20, caused significant damage. The detained individuals, described as pro-Palestinian activists, face charges of aiding and abetting arson. They are set to remain in pre-trial detention for three months.
The incident has drawn international attention, as the damaged facility was reportedly collaborating with Israeli Elbit Systems for drone production, meant for Ukrainian use against Russian forces. Responses from Polish officials remain pending, as investigations continue.
