Cold Wave Continues to Grip Punjab and Haryana Despite Slight Temperature Rise

Despite a slight increase, temperatures in Punjab and Haryana continue to remain below normal in many areas. The region is gripped by intense cold, with fog reducing visibility during the morning hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, Narnaul in Haryana was the coldest with temperatures dropping to 3 degrees Celsius. Other cities like Ambala, Hisar, Karnal, and Rohtak also experienced chillier-than-normal lows.
In Punjab, Amritsar was the coldest place, recording 4.4 degrees Celsius. Ludhiana and Patiala also recorded low temperatures, maintaining the severe cold wave across the region.
