Tragic Encounter: Elephants Cause Fatalities in Arunachal Pradesh
Two residents of Namsang village in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district were killed by wild elephants. Authorities, including Forest Minister Wangki Lowang, have visited the site, and the administration is coordinating with the Forest Department to provide relief and implement preventive measures.

In a tragic turn of events, wild elephants claimed the lives of two individuals in Namsang village, Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh, according to police reports.
The fatalities, identified as Tanen Nocte and Nanthok Hodong, occurred on Monday night. Following the incident, officials, including forest officers and local law enforcement, quickly arrived at the scene.
Environment Minister Wangki Lowang, who also serves as the local MLA, assessed the situation personally on Tuesday. Coordinated efforts are underway to provide relief to the victims' families and to address future preventive strategies. This marks the fourth deadly elephant encounter in the area this year.
