The Kremlin has not confirmed whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the G20 summit scheduled in Miami later this year. The uncertainty follows U.S. President Donald Trump's expressed desire for Putin's presence at the global meeting.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated that, regardless of Putin's attendance, Russia would ensure proper representation at the summit. Peskov highlighted the significance of the G20 amid current global crises, underscoring Moscow's commitment to international dialogue.

Previously, Russia's exclusion from the G7 was seen as a setback by the Kremlin, but officials now consider the grouping irrelevant. Nonetheless, the Kremlin acknowledges the importance of the G20, planning to engage at a high level, as confirmed by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin.
