Former Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) President, Nitish Kumar, has committed to overseeing development work in Bihar, despite recently stepping down from the CM role. Addressing party legislators at his former residence, Kumar emphasized his dedication to maintaining progress in the region under the new government.

According to JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar, Nitish Kumar plans to maximize his presence in Bihar, apart from fulfilling his duties as a Rajya Sabha member in Delhi. He intends to tour the state regularly to ensure the continuity of the developmental strides achieved during his tenure.

Nitish Kumar also encouraged party members to aim for a significant victory in the next elections. Current JD(U) representation stands at 85 out of 243 assembly seats, with plans to expand this presence in upcoming political contests.
