On Monday, Haryana's Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi presided over a high-level meeting to review the progression of state's initiatives in sports, education, and nutrition. The meeting emphasized Haryana's commitment to a transparent and technologically advanced governance framework, aligning with the 'Viksit Bharat' vision for national development.
Significant advancements were reported in early childhood education, with over 4,000 anganwadi centers upgraded to offer better learning and hygiene facilities. Meanwhile, health protocols were emphasized with the introduction of digital IDs for tracking child health, and 'poshan vatikas' developed to provide fresh nutrition.
A push towards sports excellence included plans for the 2036 Olympics, with the 'Vijayee Bhavah' program focusing on nurturing young talent. Investments in higher education were bolstered by the Haryana State Research Fund, encouraging research and innovation across universities.
