Photos of Congress' Rahul Gandhi and SP's Akhilesh Yadav were trampled during the rally, highlighting the high tensions surrounding the legislative setback. Shiv Sena leaders accused opposition parties of hypocrisy, claiming they feigned support for the bill that sought to increase Lok Sabha seats and ensure women's reservation by 2029.
The debate escalated as Maharashtra's Congress spokesperson, Atul Londhe, condemned Gorhe for degrading her constitutional role, asserting that political actions have stooped to new lows in pursuit of power and positions.
