Dushyant Chautala, leader of the Jannayak Janta Party, has accused local police of attempted harm after a car tried to block his path and a pistol was brandished at him.
The incident occurred while Chautala was en route to discuss the alleged wrongful arrests of six party affiliates after protests at Guru Jambeshwar University. Despite the JJP's requests, the university administration did not engage in dialogue regarding the protest, leading to tension.
Publicizing the incident, Chautala presented CCTV footage purportedly showing the event, and labeled it as 'police hooliganism'. He made formal complaints to Hisar SP, questioning the actions of officers in the BJP-led Haryana government.
