Vijay Outlines Bold Promises in TVK Election Manifesto
TVK chief Vijay unveiled the party's ambitious manifesto ahead of the April 23 Assembly elections, targeting key demographic groups. The party promises include a financial aid package for women, education incentives for mothers, and significant support measures for farmers, highlighting a commitment to economic and social welfare.

On Thursday, TVK chief Vijay revealed his party's manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for April 23. The announcement focused on providing substantial financial aid for women, including monthly assistance of Rs 2,500 and 8 grams of gold for marriage.
Besides, the manifesto promises quality silk sarees for underprivileged brides, interest-free loans up to Rs 5 lakh for women-run self-help groups, and Rs 15,000 annually for mothers to prevent school dropouts.
Farmers are at the center of Vijay's promises, with a vow to waiver cooperative crop loans for landowners with less than five acres and a minimum support price of Rs 3,500 per quintal for paddy.
