Among the staunch supporters, Congress leader Salman Khurshid has underscored the imperative nature of enacting this policy without further delay.
Echoing the sentiment of urgency, Union Minister Raksha Khadse praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decade-long efforts to empower women, highlighting the anticipated passage of the Nari Shakti Bandhan Bill that promises legislative reservation for women. Khadse noted opposition's objections from political motives, focusing on the debate around delimitation.
