DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi issued a cautionary statement about the potential pitfalls for political parties aligning with the BJP, labeling AIADMK's partnership a 'betrayal alliance'. Addressing a gathering in the Nilakottai Assembly constituency, Kanimozhi emphasized that such alliances deceive both the state and the AIADMK's own supporters.
Countering allegations made by the AIADMK-BJP coalition that the DMK harbors anti-Hindu sentiments, Kanimozhi highlighted the state government's proactive measures. She noted that under the current administration, consecration ceremonies have been conducted for more than 4,000 temples, underscoring the party's commitment to religious inclusivity.
Shifting focus to economic development, the Thoothukudi MP assured the establishment of industrial clusters to bolster the Dindigul lock industry's manufacturing capabilities. Critiquing AIADMK's political choices, she affirmed that alliances with BJP do not historically lead to political prosperity, urging voters to back the secular coalition for sustained development initiatives in the region.
