On Thursday, Kerala's ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) revealed its Assembly election manifesto, pledging actions to eradicate poverty and elevate welfare pensions to Rs 3,000. The agenda also highlights enhanced job opportunities and a Rs 2 lakh crore investment goal over a five-year period.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan emphasized the commitment to align social justice with economic progress, molding Kerala into a knowledge-driven economy. The manifesto outlines initiatives to uplift five lakh impoverished families and expand skill training, with significant attention to women's workforce integration and welfare enhancements.
The manifesto depicted plans for industrial development, ecological tourism, agricultural advancement, and infrastructure overhaul, embodying a people-centric approach to governance. The LDF's 60-point program serves as a detailed plan to maintain a harmonious blend of growth and equity.
