DMK President and Chief Minister MK Stalin has launched a scathing attack on the NDA, accusing them of 'betraying' the public amidst the ongoing West Asia crisis. Speaking at an election rally, he claimed that the NDA has 'strangled' micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during this tumultuous period.

Stalin listed grievances such as the failure to abolish the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which he described as measures against the people's interests. He further highlighted the government's failure to protect weavers from US tariffs.

Additionally, Stalin took aim at AIADMK and BJP leaders, alleging corruption and mocking their 'double engine' mantra as a 'dabba engine'. He forecasted a severe electoral loss for the NDA in the upcoming Assembly polls.
