In Bhopal, a large demonstration unfolded on Wednesday, as protestors amassed near the Chief Minister's residence demanding justice for a young man allegedly murdered in the city. The gathering at Polytechnic Square caused significant traffic disruptions, as protestors called for urgent action against the accused individuals.

The situation escalated when some protestors attempted to march toward the Chief Minister's residence, prompting police intervention. Although authorities denied deploying a lathi charge, they stated that they conversed with the protestors to de-escalate tensions. 'A group of local people gathered here at the Polytechnic Square this morning, causing traffic disruptions. The police were here from early morning to maintain peace,' Deputy Commissioner of Police Mayur Khandelwal explained, emphasizing the police's peaceful efforts.

In addition, Khandelwal confirmed the arrest of two individuals linked to the murder, with a third suspect expected to be apprehended soon. Meanwhile, protestors insisted their demonstration was peaceful, accusing the police of undue aggression. The youth was reportedly murdered Sunday night in Bhopal's Ashokagarden locality, leading to public outcry.
