Stalin Accuses BJP of Plotting Violence in Tamil Nadu
Chief Minister MK Stalin accused the BJP of attempting to incite violence in Tamil Nadu like in Uttar Pradesh and Manipur. Speaking at a rally, he assured of thwarting these efforts and promised further financial assistance for women and students if the DMK returns to power.

Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday levelled serious allegations against the BJP, claiming that the party had devised a plan to instigate violence in Tamil Nadu similar to the unrest witnessed in Uttar Pradesh and Manipur.
Addressing a rally organized by the ruling DMK in anticipation of the upcoming Assembly elections, Stalin, who is also the president of the DMK, assured the public that Tamil Nadu has not experienced the caste conflicts or communal violence prevalent in BJP-led states. He declared that his party successfully outmaneuvered these tactics.
Furthermore, Stalin made election promises including the provision of an Rs 8,000 coupon for women to purchase home appliances and an increase in monthly assistance for women to Rs 2,000. He also pledged to raise financial support for college students from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500.
