Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal announced on Tuesday that his party successfully overcame the 'agnipariksha' or trial by fire, following a court's decision to discharge him and 22 others in the excise policy case.
Addressing a public meeting in Panaji, Kejriwal challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct assembly elections in Delhi, claiming the BJP would struggle to win even 10 seats while AAP would secure over 60. The court had previously slammed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for presenting a case that lacked judicial credibility.
Kejriwal credited the court verdict to the truth and the support of the people, dismissing the BJP's accusations of corruption against AAP as baseless. He expressed confidence that these unfounded allegations were politically motivated to destabilize his party's governance in Delhi.
