Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal's Chief Minister, has launched an aggressive critique against the Election Commission, accusing it of acting under BJP's influence by transferring senior administrative and police officers just before the assembly elections.
Banerjee, speaking to reporters, claimed these transfers were strategically timed before Eid to incite potential unrest, alleging the list of officers was orchestrated from BJP's office and executed by the Commission.
Furthermore, she accused the EC and BJP of facilitating illicit activities, including the smooth transfer of money and arms. She warned that both parties would be accountable if any disturbances arise during the election period.
