Violent Attack on Farooq Abdullah Sparks Outrage

In a shocking incident, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah was the target of a gunfire attack while attending a wedding in Greater Kailash, Jammu. Abdullah, who heads the National Conference, managed to escape unharmed as shots were fired from behind.

The accused, Kamal Singh Jamwal, a 63-year-old resident of Jammu, was quickly apprehended by the authorities. Upon questioning, Jamwal revealed he had been planning the attack on Abdullah for the past 20 years, though the motive behind his actions remains unclear.
