Shiv Pratap Shukla, the newly appointed Governor of Telangana, was warmly received by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy upon his arrival in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The welcoming entourage included IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, and DGP B Shivadhar Reddy, who greeted Shukla at Shamshabad airport.
Shukla, who has previously held the position of Governor in Himachal Pradesh, is scheduled to officially take over as Telangana's Governor on March 11, according to official sources.
