Kerala Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar's wife, Bindhu Menon, announced on Tuesday that she would retract her complaint against him, citing his admission of wrongdoing and subsequent apology. In an exclusive interview with a news channel, Menon revealed that after ignoring her husband's calls, Kumar emotionally reached out to her sister, promising to address the issues.
Menon clarified that her actions were not aimed at tarnishing Kumar's or the government's reputation but were made amidst an emotional outburst. She expressed her willingness to resolve the matter privately, emphasizing that public apologies were unnecessary.
The accusations of infidelity, which surfaced after Kumar denied social media rumors, brought attention to long-standing marital issues between the couple, married since 2014. Menon disclosed their separation over recent months due to Kumar's alleged extramarital relationships. The marriage occurred following Kumar's legal separation from his first wife, Yamini Thankachy.
