Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, announced an anticipated tour covering all 38 districts of the state. This ambitious journey follows his formal induction into the Janata Dal (United) on Sunday, coinciding with Nitish Kumar's filing of his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections.
Speaking to reporters after paying tribute to his mother, Manju Sinha, by garlanding her statue at a park in her honor, Nishant confirmed his plan to tour the state. The tour is part of a broader strategy to bolster support for JD(U) across Bihar.
In response to Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav's congratulatory remarks on his induction, Nishant simply stated, 'That is a good thing. I accept that.' The remark hints at a complex political landscape as he embarks on his journey.
